In 'Things,' I want there to be an emphasis on darkness or shadows. "Chiaroscuro" is a method of painting or filming with great emphasis on light and shadows. The light and shadows are usually uneven and heavily contrasted, drawing focus to certain objects or people.

In 'Things,' a psychological thriller, I want there to be a heavy feeling of confinement and continuous enclosement. I will be using a lot of darkness, light, and tight shots to complete this.
